Open Regedit and expand to branch:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Under this key there is information about Local Area Connection.Expand the subkey and choose "connection" to see the info.
Keep only one Local Area Connection parameter.
Example:
If now you have Local Area Connection 6.Remove other Local Area Connection and after that rename Local Area Connection 6
to Local Area Connection
